Ultralevura is a probiotic medicine used to stabilise and strengthen the intestinal flora.
It comes in a pack of 10 bottles.

Ultralevura is a medicine containing Saccharomyces boulardii as a probiotic strain. It is used for symptomatic treatment and prevention of non-specific diarrhoea. It is particularly interesting to take it when antibiotics are being used, as these can weaken the flora.
Ultra Levura can be taken by adults and children from the age of 2 years.
Ultralevura is taken as follows: adults and adolescents over 12 years of age can take 1 vial a day or 1 vial every 12 hours, as needed. Children aged 2-12 years can take 1 sachet a day. As it is in a bottle format: screw the cap on all the way so that the powder is released and falls into the liquid; shake, uncap and take.
Ultralevura should not be taken if: you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of its components. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Children under 2 years of age.
Like any medicine, Ultralevura may cause side effects although their frequency is rare or very rare: infections or infestations, gastrointestinal disturbances, allergy.
You should consult your doctor before taking Ultralevura if you are taking antifungal medicines (to treat fungus).
The active substance in Ultralevura is Saccharomyces boulardii. It is accompanied by the following excipients: fructose, lactose, colloidal anhydrous silica, tuttifrutti flavouring (contains sorbitol).
Ultralevura is an oral medicine. It should preferably be taken before meals (avoid taking it with drinks or meals with hot broth) and should be taken 2 hours apart from the antibiotic if you are on antibiotic treatment. If the symptoms persist or worsen, you should see a doctor.
