Calthek 650 mg is an over-the-counter analgesic and antipyretic medicine used for the symptomatic relief of occasional mild-to-moderate pain and fever in adults and adolescents over 15 years of age.

Calthek 650 mg contains the active ingredient paracetamol, indicated as an analgesic and antipyretic, and is effective for the relief of mild to moderate pain, such as headache, dental pain, muscle pain such as contractures or back pain, injuries or feverish conditions, in adults and adolescents over 15 years of age.
Calthek 650 mg antipyretic is a medicine indicated to relieve mild to moderate pain and fever in adults and adolescents over 15 years of age.
Calthek 650 mg tablets are taken orally. In healthy patients, the recommended dose is: 1 tablet every 4-6 hours, as needed, not exceeding 3 tablets every 24 hours. The tablets can be swallowed directly or broken in half with a glass of water. The slit is only used to break the tablet if you find it difficult to swallow it whole.
Like all medicines, Calthek 650 mg 20 tablets can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. The frequency of these effects is very low and they include: malaise, low blood pressure, increased levels of transaminases in the blood, kidney disease, cloudy urine, allergic dermatitis, yellowing of the skin, blood disorders and hypoglycaemia. Paracetamol can damage the liver when taken in high doses or in prolonged treatment.
Calthek 650 mg should be administered with caution, avoiding prolonged treatment in patients with anaemia, heart or lung disease or severe hepatic and renal dysfunction. Use in patients who regularly consume alcohol may cause liver damage. Avoid the simultaneous use of this medicine with other medicines containing paracetamol, such as anti-influenza medicines, and if administered, the maximum daily dose should not be exceeded taking into account the content of all the medicines used by the patient. Hepatotoxicity has been reported with daily doses of less than 4g.
Caution is advised in asthmatic patients sensitive to acetylsalicylic acid, as slight bronchospastic reactions with paracetamol (cross-reaction) have been reported in these patients, and although they have only occurred in a minority of patients, it may cause serious reactions in some cases, especially when administered in high doses.
Note that interference with analytical tests may occur, and uric acid and glucose values may be altered.
The price of non-prescription medicines is set by law. In our online pharmacy you can buy Calthek 650 Mg 20 tablets at a discount of 10%, which is the maximum allowed.
